Our gites near La Rochelle are situated in a region called the Charente Maritime on the South-West coast of France. Nearby are the historic towns of La Rochelle, Cognac and Rochefort. Unspoilt sandy beaches are a short drive away with easy access to the beautiful islands of Ile de Ré and the Ile d'Oleron. With as many hours of sunlight annually as the Mediterranean coast, it is ideal for everyone here, there are lots of places to visit and things to keep everyone happy. Including those just wanting to relax!

11x5 metre outdoor swimming pool & 'Le Pressoir' sleeps upto 4 people, 1 bedroomed with a double bed, double bed settee in the lounge. Bathroom with walkin shower, Kitchen/Diner overlooking open countryside.

The 17th century Farmhouse and Pigeonnier have recently been renovated to a very high standard. Outside there are table and chairs for each of the gites, bbq and a large garden with childrens play area, swings, wendy house, trampoline, football goal and sun loungers, plus free hire of cycles. They are surrounded by rolling countryside with fields of sunflowers and wheat, close to a pretty Charentaise village with local supermarket, bar, post office and a highly popular restaurant specializing in local cuisine. Nearby there are plenty of fishing lakes, cycling, pony riding and lovely country walks.
